Discover the world of illustration through a series of imaginative art activities with local artist Carlee Justis.
Carlee will take you on an exploration of color, texture and pattern while experimenting with different types of media for drawing and painting. She will focus on the many details that make a picture interesting. Perfect for beginners and kids with intermediate drawing skills. All Supplies included.

Get ready to unleash your imagination through a series of stimulating activities including drawing, painting, and mixed media. Carlee will read some of her very favorite picture books and together the class will discuss just how pictures can tell stories. You will start with observational drawing lessons to focus on the many details that make a picture interesting. Then you will use those skills to create your very own illustrations! Limit 10.

At the end of the four hour course you will be able to burn your design to cd and be able to print them out on any home computer or send them by e-mail.
